Coeur D'Alene

We made it! After flying from Oakland, CA to Spokane, WA we arrived for our first trek through Idaho. We weren't prepared for the beauty of this state. I wasn't sure what to expect, but we encountered not only beautiful scenery, but some of the friendliest people we've ever met!
We were really blessed with our accommodations this summer. Not only did we have a terrific experience at Cedar Cove Inn in Port Orchard, WA, but we had an awesome room at the brand-new Hampton Inn in Coeur D'Alene, ID. This picture was taken in front of their fireplace in the lobby. The staff were SO incredibly nice and the amenities (gym & pool) were available for use 24 hours. We also had a nice surprise when we got there: because of a full house we got upgraded to a suite. So we had a little more leg-room and a kitchen & couch to boot! http://hamptoninn.hilton.com/en/hp/hotels/index.jhtml;jsessionid=T43EKG3N1OKFMCSGBJT222Q?moreDesc=true&ctyhocn=CDAIDHX

Ahhh, how relaxed! This is us leaving the resort after a couple's massage. One of the best ever. This was hands down one AMAZING summer vacation!
