Lake Coeur D'Alene is breathtaking. Our pictures can't do it justice. And it's much bigger than it looks in our pictures. This is a shot of our dinner cruise coming in to dock at Independence Point.

There are some really great, clean, family-friendly & well manicured parks throughout the Coeur D'Alene area. This one runs along a small portion of the lake near where our dinner cruise began.
It was too cold for swimming (it poured the day before, which they said was unusual for June), and I caught this view of a deserted beach with empty lifeguard stations along it.
