Well, folks, can't say I can find any pictures from this adventure. I DO remember it, though!
We stayed at Cottage Inn by the Sea, which is an AWESOME place to stay if you have a dog. Usually, hotels that take dogs are either ridiculously expensive or groday to the max. The Cottage Inn, however, is clean and reasonably for a place that has offers ocean views. Most of the rooms do not have ocean views, but you can walk right to the cliff's edge in just a few steps and they have access to the beach (a steep set of stairs).
We watched movies and of course ate at Cracked Crab (just love how they dump your food right on the table!) and then when we heard the fireworks we ran to the fence at the top of the cliff overlooking the sea and could see the dazzling displays all the way to the dunes. Very cool. :-)
